Thanks for the suggestion Bill, but I am already moving ahead with the
project.

Joe,

You may want to talk with Rock Speicher, of Progressive Signs, in Denver,
Colorado. 303.427.6405 .

I've had him do a couple these things for me, as well as some Historic Group
stickers. He prints on a nice material using a dye sublimation printer. He
can even work from a JPEG image, if necessary. It is not a bullet proof
image, but after some years in the sun, they still look all most new. It
opens up your possibilities, there are no added costs for added colours,
short runs OK, intricate cut outs can be done, and cost is reasonable.

OK, guys, Here is what I think is the best thing. See what you think and
let me know if there is anyone who disagrees.

1.	I am going to do a round decal (sticky back) that is 3-3/4" in
diameter. I have decided on this slightly larger size because of two
factors. It will be more visible and I can fit the decals onto the
available vinyl sheet with less waste than if it were 3". I could do more
on a sheet at 2-3/4 but I fear that the wording won't be as prominent.
2.	I have decided that one run is all we need if I do a black on white
decal with a heavy black circle on the outside border. That way any color
car will be able to use it and not have the decal blend in to the car's
paint.
3.	The decal will have Jack's 59 in the middle (in the same font he
used on his car) with the "In Memory of Uncle Jack" all in black lettering
around the perimeter just inside the black outline.
4.	The total cost of production of 250 decals is 200 bucks. I think I
can have them finished by the end of this month so I can ship them by
Priority mail and save a few bucks over next day air.

So I await feedback. I need to get this into work today in order to meet
the deadline.

Thanks,

Joe C.

I like the sound of this and it is consistent with one that Bill Dentinger
did in honor of Mike Belfer.

Gary:

As a suggestion for an alternative design, how about a sold white circle (3"
diameter ?) with a blue 59 in the middle with "In Memory of" above the
number and "Uncle Jack" below in blue letters. I've seen a similar decal
before and it looks very nice. The reverse color scheme for white cars.
