[Fot] Watkins Glen.......... New York or Newwark or where to fly in? Help!

Guys, thanks for all your assistance.  I have now booked Keith to Buffalo, via Newark and Dana and I will meet up with him there and drive him to Watkins Glen.  Dana and I are staying over at a hotel in Ithana (20 odd miles east of Watkins).
 
I will also take Keith back to Buffalo Monday morning (leaving Watkins at 3.15 am) - unless someone else is going that was that early (I MUST BE MAD LOL!).
 
Again, thanks - now the only thing that is stopping me un-crossing all my appendages is getting the engine out of customs and down to Joe and Co tomorrow!!!

We live about 45 miles from Newark. 
I agree, Newark is the much better choice.

FoT, Keith Files (TR4) is flying from London on Thursday. It would nice if he got there for the 5:30 PM TR practice, however...... 

Given two choices of Newark and New York, I would pick Newark. But I need to defer to someone from the east coast. 

Or is there a better location to fly into? I know there are folks that are getting closer. 

Please help with response to "ALL"

Looks like my flight will get into JFK around midday next Thurs, 2 questions: 

1) Is it better to fly into Newark? 
2) Where is Watkins Glen in relation to New York and how long will it take me to drive there?
