[Fot] 15" tires

I run on Yoko A048 and would say, after 2 or 3 laps they wake up when on the
right pressure and last the whole distance.
I know from a back to back test of a team over here that the Hoosiers
Speedsters does have a very good peak grip for a couple of laps but then the
tire don't seem to be usable anymore. Maybe this heat cycle theme.
The Yoko don't reach the grip of the Hoosiers but is not much away from it
but the tire does last for ages.
I still run tires from 2008 and do very well on them including two hours
Nordschleife two times.
I think I'll do the first two race on them next year.

Cheers
Chris

Has anyone (the west coast guys in particular due to their more lax tire
rules), done any back to back or meaningful tire testing / observations
between Hoosier Speedsters / Vintage TD's, Goodyear Bluestreaks, or Yoko
A048's vs. tires such as Toyo RA1's, and R888's, Hoosier Street TD's, and /
or Kumho V700's?

I know from the SCCA world how the A048's stack up against the Toyo's and
Kumho's (slower and go away after 2 laps).

Just curious..
