With regard to FIA, I haven't a clue - but I'd doubt it. While TR's were
factory prepared (I think for Sebring?) the majority of competition work from
1965 thru 1973-ish was mostly with the 2000 and 2.5PI saloons on the European
and World Rallies. Have a look here

  In a word, No! They did play around with disc conversions on the rear - but
these were on the rally
  cars and it was found that cars equipped with larger disc and rear drums
braked better.
