[Fot] FOT on FACEBOOK ???

My opinion is that facebook although perhaps well intentioned has a darker side that is not entirely clear to me.   This  networked and interconnected program is something I have joined very reluctantly but, in a limited way.

FOT list members:

I use facebook and like some of the features. I am not sure I understand all
of the features and what they do.

When three of us started the FOT, this list it was supposed to low key and
largely under the radar...somewhat like the organization 'THE QUIET BIRDMEN.'

With some of the events we have put on like the Kastner Cup, it is difficult
to maintain a low profile. Thus we are fairly well known. Fortunately highly
regarded.

So........

What does 'going public' on FB do to us, say, as to going 'private'?

I think it is an important question to ask. Help me out here, one way or
another.
