[Fot] The Cup race

As usual, some folks for some reason fail to remember the parameters of the
winner choosing of this cup. It is NOT necessarily the winner of the race.
The race counts a lot, but it is foremost to the party that is PERFORMING OUT
OF CLASS. The race only counts for about 50% of value in the total. The Mordy
Dunst TR-4 at Portland, the Jerry Barker, Herald at Laguna, are samples of
this. Keith Files at Topeka TR-4 with a bunch of other very very good TR-4
cars. Chuck Gee and his Spitfire at Utah. Tony Garmey at Watkins Glen
TR250K, they were all way out of class with their finish. A few times the
apparent obvious person to win failed to finish the race, DNF, and so did the
chance of winning this cup. These are examples of my position in the choice.
There are more, but be reminded of the idea.

Next year at Atlanta will be open season for everyone. The another rule to
remember, you are not allowed to win this cup in consecutive years, but there
are now several that are outside of that time frame. Looks like an open
season.

Never be beaten by equipment
