Sam Halkias finished just off the podium in a hard fought race in
heavy rain. Third for a while, but a hard charging Honda (Sponsored by David
Hobbs no less) took him off the podium. Sam was trying hard to keep him
behind and got wiggly in turn one and ended up sideways at the exit halfway
over the rumble strips facing corner station 2. He managed to get going
again rather quickly but almost got T-boned by the 5th place car who ended
up in the tire wall. Visibility appeared to be awful, and much of the field
found their way into the kitty litter.
In a field of some pretty tough competition he finished a respectable
fourth.
Way to go Sam!
