Revisiting this thread about modern engine oil and its lack of zinc, makes 
me think of rumors I've heard down through the years about adding a 'bit' of 
oil to the gasoline in our old sports cars.  The way I've heard it is that 
back in the day, particularly the Brits (back in the old country) would add 
a 'bit' of engine oil to their petrol for lubricating purposes.  Anyone else 
hear that...or do that?
