You might be surprised at how high the speeds are for some of the classes. Tom
Kreger's SAAB sedan does over 150. It really depends on the class.  Our TR-4A
did 128 in 1966 and change with full windshield and top etc.  the record for
that class at that time was held by a Damiler 2.5 and it was about 131 as I
rmember. The Salt is 4200 feet high and that altitude saps a lot of power.
GT-6 should be able to do the job but you had better check the records with
the Southern California Timing Association, they rule at the salt.
