Guys, 

I have two friends getting into the vintage racing world with their
Spitfires and it's been a very long time since I bought my gear I was
wondering where some of you had good experiences in the recent past. There
are lots of sources on-line and costs on the same item can vary by huge
percentages. Without the ability to actually try a suit on one must rely on
measuring. 

 

The other component of this question is where has the best customer service
as in someone able to assist with interpreting measuring for correct fit.

I envision they both will be in the market for:

 

Suit(3 layer rated)

Gloves

Balaclava

Shoes fireproof socks

5 point harness

HANS device

Helmet-Bell M-4 has been indicated
