[Fot] Spitfire Mk II race car

Fellow FOT member Dave Foreman and I have just taken delivery of a MKII
Spitfire race car.
I have an SCCA logbook (# 13-430) going back to '79 however the tub has no
data plate with a commission number.
The tub number plate that sits directly under where the commission number
plate is intact and its number (# 75158 FG) is what is noted in the logbook.
Is there a cross-reference recourse anywhere than can give me this car's
original commission number outside of the British Motoring Heritage?
