[Fot] Oil

If you’re confident the cheapest route is the way you want to go it may be an option, likely not the best one though. Balance the cost of a good oil versus the cost of an engine build and your definition of “cheap” may take on a new complexion. The folks who expressed Brad Penn as their choice are not casual street car drivers and base their decision on experience under the extreme conditions common to racing applications. ZDDP is not the only difference in a good racing oil.

The choice is yours, choose wisely!

I have done multiple engine builds for race prepared Triumphs that spend their lives at 7800 rpm+ and will only use Brad Penn. Never an oil related failure!

Remember the old adage……..”when looking for the cheapest oats. Never be surprised if the cheapest to be found have already been through the horse once!”

Hi Guys.

There seams to be a lot of favor of the Brad Pit oil. Is a ZDDP oil additive a decent option to use with a more conventional (cheaper) oil ??
