That is funny!

But I saw that at Road America that one of the marshals went quite close to the track to show you a flag.

Easy to get hurt if a car gets out of control (which I did).

I've been known to walk out to the edge of the track and put the black flag in the driver's face. Not recently, but I have done it. Completely frowned upon any more!

Right!

Furled BLACK flag means, "...you've done something wrong.  We have seen it.  Do not do it again!"

Waving BLACK flag means, "...you SOB!  You have done it again!  STOP IT!"

Usually the third time they actually throw the BLACK flag at you.
