[Fot] TR6 Trunnions

Hi Bill.  I raced a very competitive TR-4A for 24 years, and never used anything but used trunions, and never had a failure.  As I parted out lots of cars, I would choose ones that seemed to fit tightly.  TR-4A, TR-250 and TR-6 all worked the same.  Of course back through most of my racing years (started in 1974) new ones were not available.  Based on my experience, stick with the used ones, as long as they are fairly tight.

<!--#yiv1540682010 #yiv1540682010 p {font-family:Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;color:#1F497D;}-->I bought several from different sources for upgrading TR3/4 front ends and building the new race car. None of them screwed onto the vertical link as tightly as the used OEM ones that came with the donor parts. Especially disappointing was the ones that claim to be made from original tooling, and actually have some lettering cast on the outside. I wouldn't install any of these on a street car, let alone a race car.
