Yeah, I remember him well.  He and I used to talk often since I
had (and still have) a street TR-3.  He was a really great guy
to talk with.  Sadly, I have not stayed in touch with since I
left Colorado.

Had a TR3 fromColorado possibly a factory car?
 
I can't find anything on him but my friend (Triumph car club member) 
has his car and sadly turned it back to a street car.
