[Fot] Spitfire Single Rail Gearbox

Does anyone know if the following part number Leyland part no. 22G 1818
cross overs to/is the same as 154 829 15T (Layger, Single Rail Gearbox)

 

Also, is there a 'FIX' for the Single Rail Gearbox Laygear when the needle
rollers have damaged the bearing surface inside the gear? Or are we talking
'new gear' time?
