I believe I have several of these in good condition.  I have lots of Spit gearbox parts I don't use in the GT6

I clean out the inside of the gear in my lathe and make a bronze oil-lite bearing for it. You can make the bushing a little longer for better support. I do this all the time in TR3-6 gearboxes. Anyone competent with a lathe should be able to do it.

Does anyone know if the following part number Leyland part no. 22G 1818 cross overs to/is the same as 154 829 15T (Layger, Single Rail Gearbox)
  
Also, is there a ‘FIX’ for the Single Rail Gearbox Laygear when the needle rollers have damaged the bearing surface inside the gear? Or are we talking ‘new gear’ time?
