The Spitfire was built by Robert Kuczek and raced in 1976 to 1979 with Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs and 1980 to 1981 in SCCA.  It was crashed in 1981 at Elkhart in turn 1, and has been in the prior owner’s garage from then to the present.

Ralf was a Spitfire guy early in life, but somehow ended up racing a Capri in the late 1970s (see photo attached).  As penance for these sins, he has purchased a defunct and damaged Spitfire race car which he will bring back to life, probably in vintage race form.
