[Fot] Where to get long Spitfire wheel studs

Long ago and Far Away I sheared all 4 stock size lug studs on the L rear of
my 64 GP Spitfire at the apex of West Bend at Lime Rock in qualifying.

For those unfamiliar with West Bend, its the highest point of the track, a
flat, flat out 90º right hand turn onto the downhill/main straight. Get it
right and you do well, lift and you go slow. Get it wrong and you have a
Bad Day.

As Ken Richardson said 'That seems to be a character building type of
experience'. Boy, was it ever.

That afternoon/evening, the studs were all replaced with 7/16" GM studs and
lug nuts from the NAPA in Lakeville. I had to file the heads down about
1/16" to fit, but I never worried about that again.
