If you're using a stock thickness disc, and the PP is to spec, you should be fine.If you use a thicker disc, the PP has to be shimmed accordingly, because the geometry is changed and the over-center/release point will be off.HTH

Subject: [Fot] laycock clutch question
Hey Friends
just installed a new to me (rebuilt) laycock PP and a new clutch disc. As I tightened the PP the fingers ended up pretty much flat across, no longer peaked. So when the hydraulics is engaged the throw out will press the clutch fingers deflecting inward (invert from when on the bench). Makes me uncomfortable / doesn't seem right.
Normal / Correct?
am hoping to put the trans back in tomorrow afternoon, comments please
ThanksBrian
