We do standing starts in the UK and Europe and I have done them since i first started racing in 1980. I have been involved in 2 accidents, at Brands Hath and Spa where a stalled car caused a massive crash, unfortunately I was involved both times and had very large repair bills.

As you know I have also raced in the US and Canada and I have to say that rolling starts are way safer and i would love them to come to the UK and Europe.
