I’d say that’s true if we read “road racer” as used in Ed’s email to include a pretty broad swath of motorsports uses.  I joined the FOT in 1998 when I started using my GT6 for track days at Blackhawk Farms.  Bob Wismer spotted me and brought me in, knowing that I’d need the help.

Road racing, autocross, track days, rally, rally cross, whatever.  I think there are some involved in all of that here.  Hell, circle track if they’re out there…

Essentially true. There are some exceptions where some folks are able to make a serious contribution to our activities, such as the Kastner Cup.  Media and Technical Folks might be found in that list of exceptions.
