 Hi John,
That was before the K Cup had its own run group. Generally the feature groups never have enough cars for their own run group and they would run in the normal groups all weekend until they are combined for the feature race on Sunday.

Rick, based on what you said, that is not what the entry form says:
Kastner Cup Triumph Featured Marque - SVRA Sprint Series - Triumphs select this option for SprintSeries - $100 Deposit Required - credit issued on green flag

You guys are making way too big a deal about this, I will try and simplify things here in hopes of everyone getting their Chi back, haha.
SVRA is not waiving any rules, all K Cup entrants are under the management of the K Cup directors.
All K Cup cars will run in the K Cup run group and will not be on track with any SVRA run groups.
All K Cup cars must have all the correct and up to date safety gear including a Fuel Cell.
If you want to race in an SVRA run group as well as the K Cup you will need to pay the standard entry fee in addition to the K Cup entry fee and we all know how much that is, nothing right?
You may also enter the test day or track orientation program and a 1 hour Endure if you are so inclined and yes they all carry an extra fee as well. lots of choices for you out there. I suspect if you did everything there was to do this weekend your engine will need a rebuild and you will need a vacation.

I hope this puts everyone's minds at ease at least temporarily, haha.

I'd like to understand from Rick Parent what SVRA rules are going to be waived for the Mid-Ohio race and particularly the Kastner Cup race.  If you need examples I can provide them.  Thanks

Please do not mail them, we will never see them that address is gone, please email them to rick at svra.com
Here are the new forms.
We need to know what tires you will be using so we can class cars accordingly in advance.

Probably a question for Rick. I did this last year for the Glen event, no changes, need to put in another one?

Due to the enormity ( I had to look that one up to make sure it was a word) of this years event lets please try and get some of this stuff out of the way in advance so we aren't standing around in tech thinking to our selves darn I wish I would have done that earlier. If you go to the link below there is a race car certification form and an engine certification form. I'm not sure all the stuff applies but fill it in the best that you can and get it mailed in to the address at the bottom of the one form. That way SVRA can see what's coming and it will help line up classes in advance.
Thanks, I'm hoping to get as much up front work out of the way now so come June we are just coasting. We are up to 39 cars registered, 65 expressed interest in racing.
