As your Race Chairman at the recent CVAR event there and still FoT member I think Eagles Canyon Raceway would be an exceptional destination for the Kastner Cup. FYI.. the track changed hands about 4-5 years ago with Livio and Paula Galanti buying the whole tract. As a guy an hour away, the first year or so if there wasn't engineering going on every time I went out there there wasn't one. Has to be a french drain now every 20' easy. As Livio said, we've had 4000 years of water flowing through here. AND, it was not a re-surface. He dug the whole thing up. You now have a base to the top a 36" structure. When the pavers started to pave, they didn't stop. The surface is perfect, there is just no other words for it. If I can help. Livio and Paula are my friends and I'm a member at the track as well. With Race Chairman experience (including our last Kastener Cup there) I'd be honored to help... Livio Galanti had GUESS watches in his company but now has SHINOLA...look them up.... GREAT product.

I’m in. Love that track. Unfortunately was not  able to make it this past weekend, but did make the preview race in December on the short track. It is an amazing new surface and great layout. Would make a wonderful Kastner Cup event.

CVAR had 157 cars registered for the Eagles Canyon Race this past weekend. Only 3 Triumphs, two Spitfires and my TR6. The track has been reconfigured with all of the drainage problems corrected. All new pavement! It is now longer and without the ripples and bumps it's an awesome track.
The TR6 did awesome all weekend even though I was experiencing a spongy brake pedal all weekend. I knew it was just the rears thanks to the pair of brake pressure gauges, but bleeding didn't help. Pumping them did work but I was braking earlier than I'm used to.
With Covid restrictions I had no crew in place to start my Go Pro Hero 2 and 4. I need to upgrade and get some sort of remotes. Most times I managed to turn them off instead of on sitting in the driver's seat. I do have a backwards facing video for the final race on Sunday. I will put that together as well.
This video is from the morning race on Saturday. I missed the Friday practices due to work so there were my first race laps on the new layout. Look this over and tell me if you think we should invite everyone back to Texas for another K-Cup at Eagles Canyon.
