I “get rid” of my old belts (which are in excellent shape but out of date) to the 4x4 and Jeep rock climber/ Mudboging guys. They like the added belts and have no ruling body to Conform to.
Also seen 5 point belts in the street “tuners” (no malice intended) cars
Put them on Craigslist or on your passenger seat if you have one in your race car.

I'm with Henry in that I use the originals regularly. Haven't had one fail yet on race or street cars (now that I said that, they'll start failing left and right!)...
Of course, I also have an in-house rebuilder (old Skippy skills die hard!)

I weeded out my collection, something like 40 of them and took them to the local starter shop who gave me some money and they might have made it back into somebody's car.  Now I'm down to about 5-10 of these with dates that match my cars...............

Greg, if you have a scrap metal recycler near you, you can get a few to five bucks each for such electrical items.  If no one wants them to use, it might be worth the trip, instead of just trashing them. JoeB
