Bob, no need for extra oil, remember, this is a field full of British
engined cars. Bring a case of kitty litter instead.

FYI, for reference, these are the tire rules for our series, The Historic
Racing Group. We'll allow slicks on a pre approved basis but the car is put
in a group that can't get any points or wins, they're just on track to play
with the other cars.

April 20, 2018 - Tire Rule Update
 HRG will retain our traditional rule, any DOT approved tire. This includes
DOT approved competition tires like Hoosier R7s and Toyo Proxes. In
addition, we will allow any treaded racing tire designated as Vintage or
Historic by the manufacturer.

 Slick tires will only be allowed on a pre approved basis for visiting
drivers who wish to try our series. All cars with unapproved tires will be
put in Race Group 6 which does not award season points.
