[Fot] Road America - Best gear ratio?

 Hi Mike.  I won The June Sprints at Road America in 1989 and 1991 with my TR-4.  I used a 4.3 rear end gear and a close ratio (Dolomite) gearbox with overdrive.  Same set-up I used at Road Atlanta for The Runoffs.  The 4.3 gives a good gear for the tight corners (turn 5 and Canada corner) and the overdrive gave me plenty of top end.  Of course my red line was a little higher than yours (7.000) so you might have to adjust accordingly.  Good luck.
