[Fot] Group 44 Spitfire?

Rollbar numbers started in 1972.
IF the car has a rollbar number, and IF it was a Group 44 car, it should have a rollbar number like 42-XXX. Group 44 operated out of Falls Church, VA, and Bob Tullius et al were members of Washington DC Region, region #42.

That, but it's also possible that it was before roll bar numbers started.
It should be stamped near the thickness hole.
As for verifying as Group 44... without documentation & logs that would be tough, just keep in mind that there are many more "Group 44" cars out there than Group 44 ever did...

I’ve got a buddy in Oklahoma that bought a collection of crusty Triumphs including a Spitfire racer that supposedly is a Group 44 car. Any ideas how this claim could be verified? Photos attached.
