That may be true- the penalty bit, but I’ve been running triple Weber 40s in Vintage for years. Even with that, a well prepared Tr4 is at least a match for my car. I run the Webers because once they’re set up they’re bulletproof, and I have to admit, I love the way they look.
I’m not sure from a performance standpoint they offer a huge edge.
