Great.  Thanks for the update!   

For anyone checking, Motorsport.reg shows no entries yet, but this seems consistent with 2024’s HF42.  The 2024 registration site only shows about 7 total entries, whereas MyLaps SpeedHive shows over 183 registrants running across all nine groups’ practice sessions.

The track has officially announced that registration is open for the Lime Rock Historic Festival 43, the host of the 2025 Kastner Cup!

I had a conversation with Paul King, our man on the inside, who told me as of a couple days ago we had 22 Triumphs registered, that is half the people on my list who reached out to me to say they intend on running! We are off to a great start!!!

Keep those entries coming! 

Fun fact, during that call with Paul he told me Triumphs accounted for 22 of the 23 entries to date!

Dear Competitor,

Labor Day weekend starts with the Thursday evening parade to Falls Village, followed by a street fair. 18 miles long, open to competitor cars and pre-1975 sports cars. Parade registration can be found in your race entry form.

The racing groups and classes follow. Triumph is the featured marque with an all-Triumph group, the Kastner Cup. We will run Triumphs that are "too slow" or "too fast" in more appropriate groups. Practice and qualifying on Friday; the competitors dinner Friday evening with David Hobbs featured (he raced a Triumph Spitfire 3 times at LeMans); 2 races for all entries Saturday; the Sunday Concours and Gathering of the Marques; and again 2 races for all entrants on Monday

The following 9 groups are planned for Historic Festival 43. 

Groups/Classes are subject to being combined/changed once we can evaluate the entries. When registering in MSR, if you are unsure which Group your car should be in, please select "Need Classing" and your entry will be assigned to the appropriate Group.

·     Mid Century GT / Sportscars Under 2 Litre (Slower VSCCA/ Production Cars)

·     Jim Haynes Memorial for Formula Juniors

·     War-Era: Pre-War and slower Post-War Cars

·     Toyo Tire Historic World Challenge Cars (Toyo Spec Tires Required)

·     Triumph Feature: Kastner Cup

·     Tin Tops / IMSA RS / Under 2.5 Litre Cars

·     Big Bore / Air Cooled Porsches (Period-Correct Slicks Allowed)

·     Wings / Slicks & Formula Fords 

·     GT/ Sportscars Over 2 Litre / Sports Racing Cars

We will change the order if necessary to accommodate drivers running more than one car, but barring a big swing in entry, we hope to keep the preceding groups and run order.

Ragtime Racers will be joining us for the first time. Authentic pre-1920's Indy Cars parading during the lunch break Friday, Saturday and Monday. This is a great show with period costumes, a great "garage" tent and again, real cars. Tony Parella tells me they've run at three of his events and are the most popular part of those weekends with event fans.
