[Healeys] BT7 rear shroud boot armacord

Hello all,
This is the piece of Aramacord that installs against the inside rear  
shroud in the boot. Does the unfinished edge go down against the  
floor (to the fuel tank) or does the unfinished edge install to the  
top under the lip of the boot opening? BT7.
