Thanks to the folks who suggested answers, and to Norman Nock who was willing to talk the body shop through some diagnostics. ( Don't think they called, but he was generous to offer his time and expertise). The answer was a loose wire to the ignition switch. I wonder how that happened? Thanks again, Jack
