Brad,
Depends on whether you want more positive or more negative camber.
Hole towards chassis: more positive.
Hole away from chassis: more negative.
Usually, Healeys have excessive positive camber--at least my BJ8 did--so 
you'd want to move the offset hole away from the chassis.   This pulls 
the trunnion in, hence more negative (or less positive) camber.
