circlip lost from shaft of battery ground switch

broken center contact in distributor

fuel pump points seized

(this over a period of ten years and 20,000 miles of driving)

broken rotors

loose knock-off nut

blown oil pressure line to safety gauge

sunk floats

out of gas/bad gas gauge

loose wheel hub nuts

point failure in regulator/battery discharged
