Kentucky law allows for YOM plates or reproductions. You have to register  
as a historic vehicle and keep the historic tags in the vehicle and be able 
to  produce them for a police officer. I also carry a copy of the state law 
in  the bags with the plates.
 
I ordered my reproduction plates from _http://www.licenseplates.tv/_ 
(http://www.licenseplates.tv/) . Only  difference is they are aluminum instead of 
steel. My 1957 plates are  personalized "Healey"
