[Healeys] BN7 Windshield

Dave,

What you have is a discoloration of the polyvinyl butyryl interlayer between
the two layers of glass. The yellow is simply a result of the aging process
associated with "vinyl". To my knowledge, there is no means of restoring
the vinyl to it's original clear appearance. Hopefully, most of the
discoloration will be covered by the windshield frame.

Ron

Subject: [Healeys] BN7 Windshield

I have started to assemble my windshield and upon unwrapping and
cleaning up my old glass I found there was a yellow stain about a 1/2'
all around the edges.
This looks like it was caused by the old seal and apparently is on the
plastic between the glass.
If I slide the glass toward the top the lower corners are inside the
frame.
Any ideas to get rid of the yellow, or recommendations on where to
get a new wind shield?

  Thanks,
          Dave and Daisy
