[Healeys] gas guage sending unit

john, at least 5 years ago or so, my sending unit quit working and i discovered the float was full of gas.  not having much luck soldering the hole closed since it was in  the seam, i cut the end off the float, filled it with two corks from home depot, and replaced the unit.  working fine and i assume will continue for a long time.    hjim
