Concur with Rod Shepherd - Peter Roses fixed Sarah Frost's 100M the same
problem by disconnecting black & white wire at coil - turned out there was
heat-related defect in the battery disconnect switch - she'd drive 2 miles
and the car would run crappy for a short time, then stop. 

 

Kudos to Rod - it took us a year of changing out everything to solve this
problem.
