Thank you to all that replied on my primary BJ8 choke cable repair post. 
We've received many interesting posts back, with lots of ideas and opinions 
.  We will try some of them and report back to the list - this will probably 
take a couple of weeks or so while carbs get rebuilt, and the car is put 
back on the road.
