[Healeys] Cold Air Box filter

I'm planning to rig a filter like this at the end of the hose and just in front 
of the radiator of our 100M:

I'm hoping I can use a typical strap-type bracket--as used to support the cold 
air hose--attached to an existing bolt or screw for support.

Opinions from Listers welcome.
