Since neither of us knew of the trap at the time we did pay her fine. Could
you elaborate on the math?

I am concerned about my fine which I know is not justified.

Even assuming she was traveling at 10 mph (15 feet per second) the math just
doesn't work out.  My non-Illinois legal opinion is to pay the ticket.
