It's also a good idea to coat the inside of the tire with talcum powder
before putting in the tube.  How many installers will know that?  
Besides carrying a spare tube in the boot, I also have a container of baby
powder in case it's needed on the road.

When putting new tires on, if you are using inner tubes, make sure ALL the
labels are removed from inside the tire. They will cause the tube to fail by
chafing. Since most new tires are tubeless by design, a lot of installers
are unfamiliar with tubes. Bob
