[Healeys] HD8 Carurettors - Many different types

My comment was bounced on the other thread so here it is again.


'I just leafed through the entire Burlen (SU) parts book.

Regarding HD8 Carburettors. Only one type is listed for Austin Healey
MkIII's. That is AUD124. (Presumably this does not have throttle screws)

There are however  many varieties of HD8 carbs.

6 different types are listed for Aston Martins, Bentley and Rolls Royce
have about 10 varieties while there are over 20 varieties of HD8s listed
for Jaguars.

Presumably throttle adjusting screws are installed on some of the above
types, hence the reference in the SU workshop manual.'

I have been unable to identify which model of HD8 I have.'
