I don't think it was that cut and dried.

My BN6 had 'deluxe' wires, heater and O/D,  but also 'standard' non-adjustable
steering with 16 1/2" steering wheel, and single-tone paint (police car all
black with white hardtop and red interior).   Delivery specs were also a bit
fuzzy.  It says "Shipped to USA but of Canadian specification"
