[Healeys] slow idle setting

Black smoke and fast means you're too rich with the mix.

With the idle screws only open a tiny bit, I'd guess that your throttle shafts
(or something else is leaking). Check to make sure your throttle plates are
seating well and adjust return springs if necc.

Check choke levers for proper motion-there are two active positions. One
lowers the main jet for richer mixture, then a little more opens some
throttle. If your choke is sticking open, you'll mix too rich particularly at
idle.

BTW, 800 is a perfectly good idle speed for a Healey.
