[Healeys] Removing the anodizing

Some help from the net using Greased Lighting: http://www.instructables.com/id/Removing-Anodizing-From-Aluminum-Quickly-and-Easil/  I have not used this on yet.


Using oven cleaner, use Easy Off (yellow heavy duty can).  Clean trim pieces to remove grease and dirt. Spray even coat on trim. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and wipe thoroughly with a green scratch pad.  Rinse well with water. Sand and polish to desired finish. Take all precautions shown on the Easy Off can. Do not get cleaner on anything else that you care about, including your skin. It may be ruined by contact with the oven cleaner.
