[Healeys] Water Pump

I have just a couple of weeks ago and it is relatively easy to do with the kit and instructions supplied by Michael Salter. I have not started the car yet, it is still in the process of restoration.

With all of this talk about water pump quality, has anyone considered rebuilding the original pump with new bearings and seals?  Just throwing some gas on this fire.

This water pump is made by a German company by the name of Bastuck. It's high quality and not much more expensive than the County pump, which is junk.

Speaking of defective water pumps, does anyone know anything about the uprated water pump for 100-4s that British Parts Northwest sells?
