[Healeys] Water Pump

The German 100 water pump from BP Northwest looks rebuildable.   The seal behind the pulley is retained by a C-Ring.  Maybe the company that made them sells rebuild kits.

Be assured I did a very extensive search before committing to special ordering the seals and bearings for the BJ7/8 pumps and the seals for the earlier 6 cylinder ones.
Also I have researched interchange information for the BN1/2 parts without success. The problem with those pumps is that a good rebuild kit will include a brass impellor and seal holder both of which will require CNC machining from billet, not an inexpensive process.

I understand that most of the Brits of the era shared some parts with tractors, Triumph especially. For that reason it's possible to cross reference water pump repair kits in some instances and source them from Tractor Supply stores. It would be interesting to know if this is true for the Austin 4s and 6s.

Some parts, like the impeller seal, are hard to get if you can find them at all.

With all of this talk about water pump quality, has anyone considered rebuilding the original pump with new bearings and seals? Just throwing some gas on this fire.
