Simon:   As stated by the seller in his description of the car, the Jamaican was named after the wife of the company's owner, Bud Godwin.

The Jamaican was a fiberglass kit body offered by Fiberfab, Inc., and produced in California and Pennsylvania, designed to fit on an Austin-Healey chassis.  To quote the sales literature, "Classic...Elegant...Sophisticated...An automobile that will always be in style...Marked by the creature comforts you've grown accustomed to... conventional doors..roll-up windows...plush interior...and much, much more".

One of them showed up, for sale, at one of the Tahoe meets.
