[Healeys] Alternator Pulleys

Well!! Mine no longer has the points, generator, lever shocks, period gearbox not cross-ply tires, but it does have one or two electronic gadgets.  

Anybody want to buy this thing, before I try to drive it 3000 miles to Conclave and back? I see below that I am an incompetent enthusiast.

You know here is a difference between an old car and a classic car.

The classic car got points, a generator, lever shocks, a period gearbox, crossply tyres and no electric/electronic gadgets.

An old car allows all to drive it, a classic car only allows those to drive it propperly who are sensible enough to understand the classic car´s sole. So its easy to recognise the competent classic car enthusiast.

In any event, unless you are doing significantly more idling than driving this drawdown duning idling is not really significant. This is what the battery is for. If you had an ammeter you would see the amps pick up after idling to bring the batt back up to full volts.

Of couse you need a good batt, and alternator.
